Logistics Director

Description -
The Logistics Director is responsible for managing logistics for threads magazine. This includes heading the planning for our launch party, booking rooms, coordinating meetings. They would also be responsible for planning socials for staff and board. The Logistics Director will also communicate with the board to complete tasks, complete administrative work, and work with ASUC to ensure good RSO standing.

Requirements -

  • UC Berkeley student.
  • Strong communication.
  • Organized
  • Experience with ASUC logistics is a plus

MARKETING DIRECTOR

Description -
The Marketing Director is responsible for continually increasing threads' readership, keeping its audience engaged, and maximizing profits via ads. This includes recruiting and managing marketers and guiding them (at discretion) through project(s) to achieve these goals. The Layout Editor should be communicating regularly with the Web Manager, Fianance Director, and Social Media Manager.

Requirements -

  • College student.
  • Strong communication.
  • Experience in marketing and negotiating is a plus.


FINANCE MANAGER

Description -
The Finance Manager will serve as the primary contact for all money matters for threads. Responsibilities include the following: budgeting for expenses (launch party, printing, etc.), finding/writing grant proposals for scholarships, and filling out purchase requests/orders when needed.
